The Harbour City Centre project, completed in 2023 is a striking example of Ironhorse Construction's dedication to enhancing structural integrity and functionality in a fully operational environment.
This multifaceted endeavour began with a selective seismic investigation, aiming to identify areas in need of remedial strengthening. The goal was to ensure the long-term resilience of the building, addressing seismic vulnerabilities with precision.
Simultaneously, the project involved the removal of the mid-level atrium stair and floor infill, reshaping the internal space to accommodate modern needs with separate tenancies. To enhance privacy and acoustic conditions within the multi-level atrium, interior glazing & architectural acoustic panels were installed, creating a harmonious balance between openness and acoustic comfort.
One of the notable aspects of this project was the requirement for evening work, as the building remained fully occupied throughout the construction process. This showcased Ironhorse Construction's capability to manage complex projects within operational environments while prioritizing the safety and well-being of building occupants.
The Harbour City Centre project represents a $1.5 million investment in elevating both the structural resilience and the functionality of the building, reflecting our commitment to delivering projects that seamlessly integrate innovation and safety.
